((um...the Ling guy shows up in vol 8 and Ed and Al find out that Hughes was killed in vol 9 as well as Roy kills Maria Ross. but then in Vol 10 we find out that Roy didn't really kill Maria she'd just hiding out in the east and Havoc gets paralyzed. Hoenheim comes back in vol. 11 and it turns out that what Ed and Al brought back wasn't really their mother so they're gonna try and capturea a homunculi by outting Ed in danger cuz they want him alive *pants*))
